• Isabella Beatrice DiLuca, the 6th and final DiLuca child, was born on March 9, 1989, in New York. She joined older brother Dylan and sisters Birdie, Alle, Gabi*, and Gwyn respectively.
• Bella is a first generation Italian-American and speaks fluent Italian, which is her parents' first language. Her slight New York accent can be heard occasionally in interviews.
• When she was 2 years old, Bella was discovered by a talent agent in Central Park where she was playing with her dad. At first her mom was wary to get her into showbusiness, but eventually loosened up and began to think it was the right thing for her. Her father had wanted her to be a star from the moment she was born.
• Her very first commercial was for Huggies Pull-Ups which led to print ads for Gymboree and Gap Kids.
• When she was 6, she finally broke into acting when she won the role of the youngest daughter on the hit family sitcom 'Full House'. Her older sister also played her older sister on the show and she dropped out of public school to work with private tutors.
• For the most part, she grew up on film sets across the country but her primary home was set in New York City where her dad remained working his job. By then, her mother was busy managing or "mom"aging all of her children's careers so she either was accompanied by her mother or an appointed guardian, usually another family member.
• She had a number of larger film roles as a child including playing twins in the Disney film remake of "Parent Trap", but she was still just a little bleep on the radar. It wasn't until she beat out thousands of other girls for the coveted role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films that she catapulted to bona fide child star.
• As a child and adolescent, she was obviously very well behaved and dressed appropriately for her age. She was always smiling and was generally a happy, sweet kid which was part of her charm. The older she grew, the sweet, innocent little kid sister image never went away. Bella still slightly resents that to this day and is trying to conquer roles that prove she can act more than just sweet.
• Bella finally began landing in the tabloids when she turned 16 and came out with her first serious relationship. His name was Jesse Andrews and he was a 20-year-old up and coming musician at the time. They met through a mutual friend and it was then that the paparazzi began questioning her normally wholesome image when she was caught in various PDAs and compromising situations with him. The relationship lasted about a year and a half, they broke it off just when Jesse's band was really taking off and infidelity rumors began floating around that he'd been hooking up with numerous groupies.
• She graduated with a high school diploma at age 17 after completing school with her tutors.
• Unlike most child stars, her parents didn't use her for cash or drain her bank account. Instead, when she turned 18 they signed her up for finance classes on how to better handle her money and how to make good choices. So far she hasn't been in debt and has no plans to ever be.
